Daggers are the fastest weapon in the game. The weapons have different attack speeds and patterns and different damage at the same level depending on their type. Melee weapons include daggers, swords, spears, greatswords, and hammers. Both weapon types consume Stamina, ranged weapons consume ammo in addition to Stamina. Two main types of weapons exist in the game: melee weapons that require the player to engage their enemies in direct close combat and ranged weapons that allow the player to attack from a distance. Advanced bronze or iron weapons are crafted using the Forging Machine. Stone weapons can also be crafted on the player's starting Worktable. These entry-level weapons are much more efficient in combat than the Pickhammer or Stone Axe, but are weaker than weapons with higher base stats that can be made later in the game.
